Royal Air Maroc becomes first African airline to join Cargo iQ
Royal Air Maroc recently became the first African airline to obtain Cargo iQ certification, following completion of the extensive quality audit process.
This audit assesses the compliance of members' operations based on Cargo iQ’s Master Operating Plan (MOP), which seeks to standardize processes and improve transparency by enabling shipment data exchanges between stakeholders for accurate planning and proactive monitoring.
The achievement of Cargo iQ certification reflects the rapid progress made by Royal Air Maroc in the field of air cargo, with the national airline also being granted two additional stars in the categories of "Corporate Social Responsibility" and "Spirit of Innovation".
The certification is valid for a period of three years and follows Royal Air Maroc's integration into the Cargo iQ community in 2019.
